Downloading and Installing WebTOP 5.0

The WebTOP 5.0 download comes in two versions: a self-installing executable (extension .exe) and a zip archive (extension .zip). Download the self-installing executable if your computer is running a Microsoft Windows operating system and you don't have extractor software (e.g., WinZip® or PKZip®) installed on your computer. During the installation you will be asked where to put the files; let’s say you put them in a folder called c:\webtop. If you have extractor software, extract the archive to a new folder, for example c:\webtop, on your hard drive. (In both cases, the name of the folder is unimportant.)

In either case, open the newly created folder and double click on the "index.html" document. (The extension of the document might be hidden, in which case it will appear as "index".) In order to run WebTOP, you must have the Blaxxum Contact VRML browser installed on your machine.
